Also: I posted a response to the Christmas Argument thing from that guy who apparently doesn't think through what he says. I wanted to note it here so that guy could be made aware of the existence of the response.
Ugh.. New Years can be such a harsh mistress. Last time Wanderer and I were together for New Years was before I shipped out to Korea. I got so drunk that I couldn't speak or move, but was still conscious and cognizant. Our friend Lisanocerous took care of me, though, making sure I could breathe and even so far as cleaning my mouth after the inevitable happened (the wastebasket also sacrificed for the cause.) I kept trying to tell her not to roll me over because the motion would make me sick, but as I said before, I couldn't speak. But, were it not for her, I'd have suffocated on my own vomit and be dead now. I bought her a bunch of presents in return for giving up a couple hours of her New Years Eve to take care of my inebriated ass, which only served to irritate her fiance. But, if she reads this, let her be aware that she still has my gratitude.
The picture Wanderer or someone has somewhere of myself butt naked, hugging a toilet, sound asleep was also a result of New Years at his place. The bullets flew that night.
Lisa was actually the one that the question was aimed at. I didn't expect the rest of you to recognize the sweatshirt.
MC - You bring up many fond, and not so fond memories of New Years spectacles. How the two of us survived the changing of the years so many times is beyond me. (For the rest of you, I am not referring to my age, but specifically those parties.)
Chip - Drag out the chest pains and come back up. We'll even let you keep your right arm.
