How do you know you're addicted?
You are the Wheel of Fortune card. The Wheel of
Fortune continues one of the major themes of
the major arcana: balance. Here the universal
tendency towards balance is described by the
Law of Karma. Karma is your destiny as a result
of actions you have taken in the past. For
example, treating the elderly in a mean fashion
would result in you being treated in a like
manner as you age. This is because you have
introduced and perpetuated a mode of behaviour
that becomes an ingrained pattern in your
subconscious so that as an elder you expect
others to treat you with disrespect. The Wheel
of Fortune also operates on a scale larger than
ourselves. Our fate or destiny is in part
determined by factors beyond our control. An
obvious example is that you would not be able
to read these words without the invention of
the internet, which has impacted millions of
people who had absolutely nothing to do with
its creation. Luck describes these external
forces over which we have no control and is the
province of the Wheel of Fortune. Image from

Which Tarot Card Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Yeah, so I am a little addicted to these quiz things. It isn't that I go looking for them, I just frequent several blogs of people who also appear to be addicted. It is unfortunate that few every respond with how these things rate them (even if they are hardly solid psychological profiles), but I guess that's just life or something close to it.

I'm addicted as well, but I have an excuse - I took a few courses in personality theory in college and am facinated by the whole business.
It's getting ugly over at Maryellen's. I'm worried she's just going to keep catching flak from the opposing sides, and it's just getting more and more out of hand. I think you had good things to say, but it looks like some aren't willing to be challenged by them.
I gathered that, but I am also getting a feeling of something akin to a submissive mentality. Chris starts with her, she responds, I defend, she defends him. It drives me nuts.
I honestly don't mean to continue driving things like this, but frankly, its her forum. I feel this strong urge to say that if she won't drive the ones who pain her out, she should step back and let some of us take a shot at it.
I know some of these monsters can't be silenced short of being banned, which only she can do, but why can't more of the people who regularly contribute and claim friendship with her stand up and say, "Enough. We won't allow this." Sometimes that's what you have to do. That's what my friends would do, even if they didn't agree with my particular stance on the subject. Ultimately they would say, I don't necessarily agree, but back off. Where is that?
i'm the star...wish I looked that good.
Hey Grey Owl, don't worry about me, i'm feeling pretty confident these days...nice having youngsters like you guys for friends though...
he i don't defend Chris, i just feel sort of sorry for the old dog...
I'm doing my best, wanderer. But when you've got a mindset like Chris'... it's not always possible to make a difference.
M, I'm just frustrated at how he treats you - and others. I don't want to even talk tothe guy, but I'll stand up for you when I can. Even if theologically chris and I agree about predestination, we certainly aren't on the same page about either it's importance or its meaning. I hope I don't overstep myself.
Interestingly enough the card I come out as is the Moon....
"You are the Moon card. Entering the Moon we enter the intuitive and psychic realms. This is the
stuff dreams are made on. And like dreams the imagery we find here may inspire us or torment us. Understanding the moon requires looking within. Our own bodily rhythms are echoed in this luminary that circles the earth every
month and reflects the sun in its progress. Listening to those rhythms may produce visions
and lead you towards insight. The Moon is a force that has legends attached to it. It carries with it both romance and insanity.
Moonlight reveals itself as an illusion and it is only those willing to work with the force of
dreams that are able to withstand this reflective light"
hmm. reminds me of the line from a book (clueless as to which one) "you'd be surprized how much insanity and love look alot alike"
btw i appreciated your comment on my blog the other day.
Blessings

What a weird tarot card.
At home, I got an entirely different result.
You are the Chariot card. The Chariot has the energy to succeed. Their ambition and drive leads them into competition, and they often come out the victor. The fast-paced energy of the chariot is met with the ability to control and lead. The Charioteer's leadership is not authoritarian but rather an attempt to bring their team to victory. The Charioteer can be obedient to those who have proven themselves in a position of leadership. Physical prowess and activity are important to the meaning of this card. Travel is found here as a journey of personal growth. Moving from one point to another in attempt to find a better place may be taken both literally and as a metaphor for the inner self.

While I can see more connection to you in the second, I am definitely a fane of the first result.

Yes. Yes, you are.
I am Justice according to the quiz. Thanks for sharing.
"You are the Justice card. Justice preserves the harmony of the world. Working with opposite forces, Justice does not seek to criticize or condemn but rather to accept. The idea behind the card justice is that opposite forces are complementary; you could not have good without evil or light without darkness. Justice's position is to make sure that if a thing is out of balance, the weight of its energy is realigned with its opposite force. This card is also a card of humour, for it is in pointing out contrary positions that humour is often found. The attitude that is found in the humourous person, being able to shift perspective and flow with an instinct, is important in the maintenance of good balance."
